To my eye, watching CFL is a lot more interesting that NFL, because the three downs and bigger field make for a much more freewheeling game. To be sure, the quality of the players is not as high, but that's a simple byproduct of the amounts of money and population involved. On the plus side... since perhaps one or two players in the CFL make their fortune from the game in any given generation, the players are there for the love of the game, not for the money.
