pumps can be dificult but as for baby refusing
that is a short term refusal, having had to bottle feed breast milk to a baby more than once myself. Soy baby milk is a good once in a while substitute. thanx, bill

Re: pumps can be dificult but as for baby refusing
The bottle is a moot point if she doesn't let down for a pump.
Soy baby milk ain't gonna happen for multiple reasons.

That's actually close...
She's going to ask for a year's deferral, and if that isn't forthcoming, just show up with the baby.

short term refusal
you haven't met my son. He refused to accept any kind of artificial nipple. It had to be the real thing or nothing. We tried breast milk and several other kinds of milk to no effect. I can't speak to the situation here, but I do know that some babies can be very obstinate...

Same for my older son.
It didn't matter how long we tried.

How long is long enough?
Two hours? 4 hours? How pissed off and traumatized do you need to make the kid for the sake of convenience?

you're assuming the child at some point will
act rationally and in their best interests. That's not a safe assumption. It becomes even less so the more frustrated and mad he gets.
