Can I be patriotic and still state the obvious?
Bush is still (and always) a dim bulb and it scares the bejeezus out of me that this dolt is (nominally) in charge.

Try to think of it this way..
Even the Best Minds of the Western World (\ufffd \ufffd) - here at zIWE natch - can't agree on the next perfect course of action fer restorin ummm Liberty, Freedom and Just Plain (Corporate) Goodness to the poor downtrodden Corporation-less Masses elsewhere.
I m a g i n e .. .. ..
[sound of harp arpeggios, ascending ^ ^ ^]
[picture Harpo a doin it..]
If we had a Fearless Leader:
Possessed of the malevolence and Certainty of a Nixon/Kissinger The intellectual acumen and Policy-wonk talents of a Bill Clinton (but runnin stuff by polls of the ovine) The collective IQ of a Prescott Bush clan (OK - forget That one - redundant) The 'Conservative' (make that Reactionary) set-in-concrete total unimaginitiveness of a Hoover The charisma of a JFK (before Bay of Pigs and realizin.. that the Joint-Chiefs set him up - and he did dumbth) The judicial brilliance of a Justice Thomas + the Machiavellianism of the current SC-5 Presidential Selectors
... all molded into one Humongous Ego.
Way I see it, and takin a leaf from the Believers amongst us:
Gawd takes care of the weak- (willed, minded, whatever). She kinda helps them muddle through, whereas She can't get a Word in edgewise.. amongst the Ones Who are Certain They Know Stuff.
There... feel better :-)

Nah. He'd get eaten for breakfast.
Remember, subtly is not his strong point. He likes to tell it like he thinks he sees it. That would get him a lot of enemies in the halls of power. I don't think they'd even let him try to talk his way out of it.

Yabut.. it'd be all over, after The IWE White Paper
explainin who he really be:
What blizzard of Wag-Ed handouts could possibly save him from the wise ponderings and incisive dismissal by the Murican Peepul? Hell, not even one o them anointed Conservative types could stand hangin out with - a proven Looser.

Actually I'd be tempted to vote for him
if I were in his state.
The Sennytor Phogbound principle -- he'd have a hard time doing as much damage there as where he is.
