Suppose MSFT rolls the big dice. Suppose they say, "Okay, we don't ship to Europe"?
You'd be surprised, I think, how many Microsofties would actually like to see that happen in the belief that "Europe will come to their senses if we just stand up to them. Let them try to live without our really great products."
I've actually heard that almost verbatum from people who should know better.
