I've not had much sleep
we're setting up the computer room in our new facility. I spent the day Sunday at an outdoor concert(five 80's bands) not realizing I'd be working 8am-10pm Monday w/out AC(it's mighty hot here) and 8am-9pm yesterday(w/AC - they finally got it running!). We've got people onsite installing our new IP based phone system. Neat stuff, all the phones have an ethernet plug plus a thru-plug for the PC(thus only one ethernet jack is required per desk). You can unplug your phone and replug it in anywhere else and it'll work as your extension. Apparently I could even take my phone to my house, plug it into my home's network, and have my extension ring there(I believe VPN needs to be set up for it to work).
I'm not saying there isn't a problem. What I'm attempting to say is that Davis's has been trying to pass the blame(cry wolf) to everyone else for the problem - the Federal Government, the power companies in other states(and specificially Texas because of Bush in the white house), and so on. The LA Times story seems to me to show that the problem (the wolf) isn't as portrayed by Davis.
Probably a poor analogy. I'll try to get more sleep tonight :-)
