New Denver Post had interview with his widow
She manages his estate, licensing, etc. She thought the Grinch was OK, but she's furious about the Cat in the Hat movie. She wants to license more animation but she's nixing any more live action stuff.

Have recently watched the Seuss/Chuck Jones collaborations of Grinch and Horton Hears a Who. Those are really brilliant (and the Lorax remains my fave). They're shorts, like his books.
