Though I had to leave something for the rest of y'all to gripe on. \r\n\r\n Works pretty well in my experience. Yes, the documentation is wanting, and autodetect / polling would be really cool (or a directory-based assignment). But I have to say that printing under Linux is vastly far less a pain than in years past. \r\n\r\n And in all measures, it beats any other Unix printer config (though CUPS answers to that as well). --\r\n Karsten M.
