Most bugs are attracted to the light because they use it for navigation or other things. Mosquito prey doesn't emit UV, so they use other means. I tried light clothes and dark clothes. Nothing worked. I started the bike before unhitching it - didn't work. I was wondering - what the hell are these things keying on? So you say it's CO2? That's peculiar - why? Like a big snorting animal is going to have a cloud of CO2 around it? Suppose that makes sense.. What if I toss a chunk of dry ice out into the yard before unhitching? -drl
