Welcome to IWETHEY!

New Gah.
Lots of this going around lately. :-(

I know several higher ups at a company (Brulant) in Cleveland that does web dev. They do a lot of MS crap, but they're also starting up a practice for Java (including some possible Linux work) to do pharmaceutical and genomic work. The owner has a large stake in Secant Technologies (also based in Cleveland IIRC) -- look on Secant's web site for some info on the pharm/genome stuff.
Warning: the Brulant website is really, really nasty -- all Flash, etc. I almost went to work for the guy who owns Brulant a few years ago, and I really respect some of the people who work for him now.

Interested?
Regards,

-scott anderson
New Very interested, I'll take a look

New There's a couple listings that are what I want
I'm about to do a cover page for them. Should I direct it to anyone's attention in particular, or just use the form they have on the site?

New Let me talk to my contact first.
She's a very high level executive. She'll know where to send it. :-)

New Groovy!
There's one listing that's what I do now. There's one that's what I should be doing, if I worked somewhere with enough people to need a team lead. I'm having some people look over the resume right now. Let me know when/where to send it.

Thanks.

(PS: I looked at the samples of work they've done. They did the web site for my previous employer. I remember at the time having a few ideas how to improve it ...)

New Any word from your contact yet?
I'm starting to get responses from the job sites. I'd really like to find something local, though, so I'd like to talk to them.

New Not yet.
I'll call her again. She can be hard to contact sometimes.

New Should I assume she's been unresponsive?
I've had a few headhunters working on my behalf, but they don't have the same sense of urgency I do. So is it time for me to respond to the company's ads directly, rather than waiting for you to contact your contact?
