I always thought logic had something to do with deriving truths from observed data by means of trustworthy rules of inference. Boolean transformations in particular, though I'm hardly averse to statistical analysis. Deduction and induction both work for me, though I find the latter more useful in real world situations. But if the disjointed, contradictory ramblings of a couple of lunatics counts as logic, then I guess I should throw out my dictionary.
