New Re: Care to be quotable on code editors?
Personally, I use a text or code editor as I find
IDEs to be a pain in the butt.

Borland C had an IDE that was not only not a pain in the butt, but was a perfect, advanced interface to C on the PC.

Now, yes, MS IDEs are horrible. But, they are MS. Everything they do is bloated, stupid, and ugly.

But don't blame the idea of IDEs.

You missed Ultraedit and (x)wpe.

-drl
New no blame here....
...not trying to focus so much on IDEs as much as when
code editors are more effective. I have to leave my own
opinion out of this. However, I will say that I do like
some of the Borland tools.

Will add Ultraedit and (x)wpe....thanks!

Can I quote you on your comment re: MS IDEs? :-)

New of course!
You can send Billy a perfumed telegram if you like!
