New Internet voting system requires Windows

Not sure why, but in 2004, you will be able to vote over the Internet but only if you run Windows. They should have made the voting software able to run on any platform.

Norm was pointing out that in 2004 you will be able to vote over the internet, but only if you run Windows.
I think we can all see the opportunity for voter fraud?

That it would be Windows-only
certainly is a red flag for a variety of folks - never mind just the monopoly reinforcement. Does this mean that Trustworthy Computing has been bought, hook line and sinker?
Damn.. where do you start? UCITA and clones, DRM in all aspects. A new atrocity every week and - obv limited time and talents to oppose any of it effectively.
Do I see a 400' dia. snowball rushing down a mountainside?

When they took the Fifth Amendment, I was quiet because I was innocent.
When they took the Second Amendment, I was quiet because I didn't own a gun.
Now they've taken the First Amendment, and I can't say anything about it.
