New If you're going to set them all the same
...you don't need to list the same identifiers twice (unless you want to for history's sake); in other words, you don't need the .even and .odd precursors:

New Any chance of updating this for subText-like cases?
E.g.

if subText := "Norm " then DoMagicSpanProcessingtoHideText;

Or perhaps a Nadsat-like option that replaces "Norm " with "HeWhoShouldNotBeNamedForFearofAnnoyingSomeReaders"
