The Free Software Foundation has acquired the source to the Measurement time of using "Days, Hours, Minute and Seconds".

From here on out, everyone will be able to make thier own days comprised of hours minutes and seconds. Weeks are still in the negotiations stage.

They have also announced that these products are going to be called :

GNU/Day, GNU/Hours, GNU/Minute, GNU/Seconds.

Of course anyone making changes to the source must also re-release the changes under the GPL v2 or later compatible license. The best thing about the GNU/DAY is that it now has a standard 25 GNU/Hours, the GNU/Hours also have a standard 100 GNU/Minutes, and the GNU/Minutes now have a standard 100 GNU/Seconds.

So, your GNU/Day is going to feel quite a bit longer. But it's still just a GNU/Day.
