Won an award at Oshkosh one year. I got really lucky :-D Like you, I had to wait a long time to fulfill my dream (34 years). But I can assure you, it is definitely worth the wait. I'm going to start Instrument Rating soon, probably some time this summer. My dad's a part owner of a 172; built in 1957, IIRC. I don't anticipate going beyond a private. But, I'm just starting, so who knows what I'll want 5 year from now. Brian Bronson

Up here in Northern Indiana, I'd guess we have fewer VFC days than we do IMC.
