New his own words? well
[link|http://www.boston.com/dailyglobe2/065/metro/1986_statement_counters_Kerry_s_stand_on_heritage+.shtml|http://www.boston.co...n_heritage+.shtml]
except that he claims his statement in the congressional record was never read by him. so either he is/was trying to have it both ways or he is too stupid to check what he supposed to have said on the house floor. Either way he is not high on my list. Although not high he IS higher than bush. The dems are really going to have to step on their dicks to lose next time. Although a McCain/Ventura third party run would beat Bush and most of the dems I see out there.

Since corporations are the equivelent of human but they have no "concience" they are by definition sociopaths
New Bad link
I will have to take your word for it that he both claims and denys Irish blood in that statement.

That is what it says, right?
The world is only a simple place to the simple.
New cut and paste here ya go
Kerrys remarks, recorded in the Congressional Record, were part of his introduction of a St. Patricks Day message by then-Boston mayor Raymond L. Flynn that the senator wanted printed in the publication.
Kelley Benander, a Kerry aide, said the senator did not make the statement in person, but rather his staff prepared a written statement that was submitted to the clerk for recording. She said Kerry never saw the statement.
John Kerry did not deliver these remarks nor did he see this line, Benander said. Anyone familiar with Capitol Hill knows that it is common routine for statements to be inserted in the Congressional Record rather than being delivered on the Senate floor. These particular remarks were drafted by a staffer who made an understandable and common but erroneous assumption.
my point is either he was lying or he is too stupid to check what appears in an official document.
oh, by the way I found a new toy,
enjoy

New Your favorite rhetorical trick
False dilemma. Lying or stupid. No other choices, huh? Like for example the Globe is being petty. They screwed up identifying him as Irish and then blamed him for their mistake.
The world is only a simple place to the simple.
New so it is not important for a candidate for president
to verify what is being entered into a official publication under his name as if spoken by him for accuracy? Or did he allow it to go in with full knowledge of the implications hoping no one would notice. What other implications are available?

New Off the top of my head?
Other implications-

How about; "Here you go little staffer person, take this hastily scribbled note, dress it up in congress-speak language, and put it in the record".

That work for you? I'm not saying he didn't lie. I'm saying this isn't proof. And you still don't address the pettiness of the Globe.
The world is only a simple place to the simple.
New pettiness of the globe is obvious, they dont like Kerry
I could fill this space with petty quotes from the st petes times who loaths the shrubs elder, pres and gov and nit craps them to death. Thats what they are there for. If there is crap in the closet the anti's will dig it out. Not out of doing the best thing for the country but out of spite.
