Talked to Linda Johnson... his personal assistant/secretary...

Also sent an e-mail with reciept numbers and stores of purchase to her.

Totaled a bit more than $255K.

I replaced 68 machines in a weekend after developing the image for the machines... ~$3k for each machine totally licensed software and all. P-III 1.2GHz, 512MiB Memory, 40GiB HD, mostly 19" monitors (21" for the CAD stations), W2K, MSO-XP Pro, Norton System Works, a myriad of other software... and PuTTY plus a few other OSS apps... This company wanted "Name Brand" equipment... so I looked and compared... overall Office Depot was the best bang for the buck.

These replaced 486-DX2-66 machine basically running Q-Modem Pro through a serial connection to the HP9000.

They spent just under $210K at Office Depot in a short period of 1 month.

Oh well if that doesn't help them understand the position they have put themselves in... not much will.
