WTF is he doing with the install media at home anyway? It is company property, and if he borrowed it to install at home, he should have brought it back.
This is why I usually make backup copies of every CD that I get, just in case the original ones take a walk somewhere. That is what CDR/CDRW drives are for. You never know when some dimwit is going to take the install media home, or hide it, or misplace it.
I feel for you Box, I do. I've had that happen to me in the past before when I was a PC Specialist, before the Internet was popular, and when we used to get on the long distance BBS systems that IBM, Compaq, and others had to download the drivers from. IBM PS/2 Configuration disks were the hardest to get, or rather the option disks to use with the Configuration disks were the hardest to get. Without them we could not configure the PS/2 systems and the Microchannel cards. Microchannel, now there was a good idea, if you lost the option disk for the card, you were SOL unless you found it or downloaded another one.
