New Half-related
Jeeezus. I count myself a conservative libertarian leaning guy, was listening to Rush Limberger ranting about the Microsoft case. Holy smokes, he places blame on the economic downturn on the lawsuit, for Pete's sake. Good Lord, entirely unrelated of course. G Gordon Liddy isn't any better; they both seem to think that Microsoft has done nothing wrong.

Yargh.

Gee willikers, sometimes the government does things *right*.

New That's a weak area w/many conservatives
although I don't see why -- maybe it's a reflexive, anti-gov/anti-Clinton thing with some.

The important item is that the supposedly pro-business Appeals Court wasn't fooled.

And, as far as the suit hurting business / stock market, that's very debatable since MS has hurt a lot of other companies (not to mention the much higher costs the typical (idiotic) mainly MS companies have due to MS's low quality and high licensing costs) and eliminated startups from a whole section of the software market (try to get VC $ to compete with MS).
