Anyway, were I on a hunt for their services - I'd start them out with a + (Doing everything by someone's HR manual has got to match golf for .. boring)

I read it as, "yeah, we're too cheap (too) to hire an adequate real live person to triage calls -- but this signifies ... we share your contempt for mechano- BS too!" :-\ufffd
