How?

"Our economy is strong, it's resilient, we've got to continue to make it strong and resilient. This economy cannot afford to stand an attack," he said.

This must be a new usage of "strong" and "resilient" with which I was previously unfamiliar.

The problem our economy is having has more to do with dumping money into a "war" that will never end than from anything Saddam could do.
