I didn't think Christianity was the most common religion. The majority of American youth got that one right, but based on their results overall I'd imagine that has more to do with their general expectaion that whatever we do is the best/biggest.

I agree that there could be inaccurate ways of accounting for it, but I also suspect that there are a lot more Christians in third-world countries than most Westerners suspect. Over a third of all Catholic cardinals are African, for instance. I think it's a third.
