Legal analysts say that depending on the schedule set by Judge Kollar-Kotelly, hearings into possible penalties could take from a few months to more than a year.
Kollar-Kotelly, 58, worked as an attorney in the Department of Health and Human Services and the Justice Department's Criminal Division before being named to the federal bench in 1997.
I know nothing about her. There's not a lot of meat in the story, either. But I wonder if MS will try to have her removed since she worked for the DoJ before becoming a judge. They wouldn't want to delay the proceedings now would they...
