Hmmm.. only other 'Ilana' I know is an Israeli pianist of some years ago - who could toss off Moszkowski as if chopsticks. The peer of any living pianist.. she left the concert game to raise some kids. Saw her live in SF once.

Oops: Ilana Vered. I have all her (few) albums. Chopin, Moszkowski fans *must* track down a copy. Or die iggerant of the possibilities.

Yeah, seems so - though maybe they are dedicated to presenting the usual juxtaposing of extremists in full dudgeon - along with a smattering of actual thought (?) Dunno what their intent might be or how they decide.
