I see you're actually attempting to deal with criticism by attacking the person, instead of actually dealing with the accusations. Instead, why don't you actually answer some of the critiques of your posts in Politics or War on Terror, instead of letting them sit there and blow holes in your little "Ivory Tower Intellectual" world? It scares me a bit when people don't appreciate irony, though. Maybe that's unfairness on my part, for which case I offer a conditional apology. But the people I've known in the flesh who didn't get irony sometimes turned out to be, well, dangerous. And the ones who got irony never turned out to be dangerous. And so, rightly or wrongly, I use it as a litmus test, until something better comes along. (Yes, there's such a thing as bogus irony. But I'm not a pomo. And there's such a thing as facile irony.
