Welcome to IWETHEY!

New Red, White and Blue day.
At my daughters school. I'm just finishing up t-shirts for them (in red, white and blue of course) that say:

On September 14, 2001 Osama bin Laden's family was allowed to fly in the US.
My Daddy was grounded until October. Let's not do that again.

-----
No, I'm not over it. And I never will be.

New Re: Many of us are with you today

Putting aside issues over Iraq policy etc: I am sure the bulk of us using this forum are with you today.

The recent tapes from Al Jazzera don't make it any easier - the very thought that OBL might be still out there shrieking his demented praises to Allah for the succesful slaughter of so many citizenry, makes it all the more poignant.

Cheers

New Re: Red, White and Blue day.
Most of the Confederate flag is white. I like that.

New ?!?
[link|http://www.flagline.com/images/confed.jpg|Last time I looked] most of the confederate flag was red (you know, St Louis Cardinal colors?).

Are you seeing things?

The first national flag was hard to distinguish from Old Glory on the battlefield, so Confederate general PGT Beauregard designed the well-known battle flag to be carried by individual regiments. The second national flag featured the battle flag inset on a field of all white, but this was considered to look too much like a surrender flag - finally the vertical red bar was added.

So I pulled into a Shell station. They said I'd blown a seal. I said, "Fix the damn thing and leave my private life out of it, OK, pal??"
