Welcome to IWETHEY!

New I'm going to cry.
I just finished reading the transcript of Larry King's interview with Bob Dole and President Clinton. Once again I find I differ with the former President and once again I am heartily saddened. I'm saddened because I realize how far we have fallen. I had almost forgotten that you can hold the office of President of the United States and be articulate at the same time.
New Wrong word. He's not articulate. He's glib.
If he actually meant anything, he'd be articulate.

It seems Clinton is still enormously popular among the easily impressed.

Everything's a mystery until you figure out how it works.
We are here to go!
The nihilists and the liars have buried truth alive in a shallow grave.
New Easily impressed?
That's a new one cast in my direction.
New He's also immensly popular...
...with those who value intelligence over (poor) script readers, who value deductive reasoning over doctrine; basically, by anyone who compares him to our current Resident, and does the math....

(Although, if Duh-beyew had his way, there would be but 1% who could do the math...)

(I wish more managers knew that...)
New Oh yeah, I remember that math.
Playing hide the peanut with the federal defecit.

Not all intelligence is equal. Some people have wisdom, and some have merely cleverness. Bush isn't perfect, but as far as the war is concerned, he's shown some real wisdom. I'll take that over Clinton's slippery cleverness any day.

New Well, Aldus showed that "real wisdon" some 55 years ago...

New He's a great talker...
Unfortunatly, he's also a coward. He has no word to give any more. Lotta words though... like they mean anything.
It would be wonderful to have an articulate leader who also had a spine and some sense of decency toward those he is supposed to represent to the rest of the world.
Unless you flat out state that GWB is only supposed to be representing the oil industry and those solvent enough to invest in him, we are pretty much screwed for a while (ping Ashton for an exact countdown.)
Billy shore does talk good though.. I forgot the line from Blazing Saddles; damn.
