New Birthday present!
I have a friend who just ADORES Hello Kitty. This will be even better than the Hello Kitty waffle iron (makes waffles shaped like Hello Kitty's head).

Actually, she's now into Sleepy Cat. But I'm sure she'd love that hub.

My wife is a total Hello Kitty fanatic. Otherwise a totally rational human being, but Hello Kitty turns her into a blubbering fangirl.

And no, I don't get it. Makes her happy, though, so I oblige her...

New Asian cultures
are different from ours. "Hello Kitty" is popular in Thailand as well. My wife likes the "Looney Toons", "Popeye", "Tom and Jerry", etc. All were dubbed in Thai when she lived and grew up in Thailand. Her Half-Sister in Thailand sent us a VideoCD with Thai Popeye episodes on it. You cannot truly comprehend Popeye until you've watched it dubbed in Thai. :)

Just buy your wife the Hello Kitty stuff, as long as it makes her happy.
