Apparently a lot of Mac Users are pirating OSX instead of paying $129USD to buy a CD of it. So much that Apple may be considering to take an extra security measure and add in a serial number system to try and foil piracy.
Well it didn't work for Microsoft, Asian Pirates write their own programs to roll their on CD-Keys and Serial Numbers for Microsoft software, what would stop them for doing this with the Mac?
Why are Mac Users such pirates anyway? You'd think that they could afford to pay $129USD for OSX, after spending so much for a PowerMac? It shows that they have the money, and they want Apple to stay in business, right?
