We've had problems with the neighbor across the street in the past. His son is a bully and has picked on our daughter and most everyone she tries to play with.

Today he shot both my daughter and a friend of hers in the face with Nerf gun. I went over to have a talk with him and his father. I told the kid (I think he's 10 or 11) to come with me to talk to his father. He had a moment of "oh shit, I'm in trouble" face, then planted his feet and said, "Nah."

I knocked on the door, and his father opened it. As soon as he saw that it was me he laughed and turned around. I called after him, "I want to talk about your son with you there so there's no confusion."

He reached back and got his phone and stepped outside. I thought, "Oh, he wants to record this, ok." Nope, he started calling the police to have me escorted off his property. His wife joined him outside to explain that I can talk to them from "over there" gesturing across the street to my house, but that if I come on their property again they'll have me arrested.

This is how bullies are made. And did I mention he's killed at least 3 animals that we know of?

If this gets to the point of a restraining order, that would make this a really fun summer. I'd hang out down at the pool constantly.
