New Depending on the shape of the legs...
Amazon has milk crates, but that seems like a non-optimal solution.

Maybe some aluminum pipe? Online Metals will cut pieces to length for you, if what they have in stock isn't appropriate.

E.g. 6061 T6 aluminum, 12" long, 1.9" OD, 0.15" wall, $6.74 each.

HTH! Good luck.

Cheers,
Scott.
New no legs, two flat sides Andrew, thanks for the suggestion of bricks might work

New Ref: Andrew, thanks for the suggestion of bricks might work
With bricks you can put each layer at right angles to the previous and they'll be pretty stable.

Of course, if you want them really stable, you can moisten them slightly and place a dab of Gorilla Glue between them.
