One thing we can do is have a high muckety muck sign off on a company wide message along the lines of--

"Company assets are not to be treated as personal possessions. Use of proscribed software on company assets will not be tolerated. Blah, blah, blah etc."

With as many layoffs as we've had over the past year, this would be an effective type of message. It wouldn't work with students, but employees... ?
