Bell is going to start doing heavy tracking on its networks for its users in Canada.

I'm wondering if their long-term thinking guys haven't twigged that Google could be a threat to them, and that there's money to be made providing similar services. Why let Google collect all that money, amirite or amirite?

It's going to be interesting to see how this plays out up here. People have been ranting on facebook for a couple of days about this. Still and all, there's a strong argument to be made that using Bell or some similar Canadian entity for these services means your data is held by a Canadian company subject to Canadian law and Canadian courts.

I don't want it to be Bell, though... they suck.
