Welcome to IWETHEY!

New Who is surprised by this?
Anyone who read Dick Tracy in the 1960s has been wondering (in the back of their minds anyway) when this was coming.

I would get something like this in a heartbeat if the resolution was high enough, the RAM and CPU was comparable to a good smart phone, and it had decent battery life. I think the last one is going to be the killer. Unfortunately. :-(

Cheers,
Scott.
New Yep.

Welcome to Rivendell, Mr. Anderson.
New Battery? Not a problem - this is Apple . . .
. . it'll be powered by blood. There will be a little needly thing on the wrist band.
New You probably think you're kidding
I think that's coming in my lifetime.

New There is probably some chemistry available
that can be converted to a small amount of current without actually puncturing the skin.

Welcome to Rivendell, Mr. Anderson.
New That's what I was thinking of.
Researchers have also discovered there is a natural "battery" in the cochlea where they can almost directly pinch some electricity. It's not much; I think someone is looking to see if it can possibly power a cochlear implant.

While they were doing that I walked over to a place called the Oyster Bar - a real dive. But I knew the owner; he used to play for the Dolphins. I said, "HI GILL!" (You have to yell; he's hard of herring...)
