until after Jan. when they release the new system. It would suck badly to pick up something and find it not upgradeable. As I understand it, they're supposed to be... but. Also, I have spoken to a friend of mine that works there. I told him I wanted a 14" form factor to go with the 7" (mostly so I can use it for PDFed fake books and the like) and he indicated to me that they've already got the hardware... so I'm expecting that there's going to be lots and lots of stuff getting released 1st quarter 2013.

The 7" will probably be easier to hold for people with arthritis (weight) but the 14" will probably be good for people with coordination issues... hard to say.

Either way, if you're looking for christmas, RIM's not it.
