New It gets better
http://www.guardian....ya-hollywood-film
Produced and promoted by a strange collection of rightwing Christian evangelicals and exiled Egyptian Copts, the trailer was created with the intention of both destabilizing post-Mubarak Egypt and roiling the US presidential election. As a consultant for the film named Steve Klein said: "We went into this knowing this was probably going to happen."
The movie was put together by radical Christian and Egyptian Copts. They had the intentional goal of trigger riots in the middle east to make the government of Egypt look bad and make Muslims look bad. I have very high standards for what degree of speech is actually incitement to violence, but it looks like this was way over the edge.

Seriously, with intents like that --- it approaches a black-opt for a secret service.

First thoughts were CIA...but now I'm wondering if it's Israel with the intent of getting the US into a fighting war (eventually with Iran?)
New Make Muslims look bad? Oh yes it did that alright.
Article from the Sydney Morning Herald: http://www.smh.com.a...120915-25ziq.html

Yes, we had Muslims *in Sydney* protesting about that stupid film. From what has happened with major protests over the last few years, there will be arrests in time. Quite a lot, too. And these thickheads will also find themselves isolated and marginalised inside their own communities, too.
