I think it will.

From all I've done on it so far, it is obvious that Porsche, VW and Audi made it very robust. It does have a reputation for "tough, simple mechanicals" and fellow owners on 924board.org also agree how solid it is.

It it telling that I drove it over 1400kms with no hassles yet it really needed new injectors, a new WUR and new air ducting!
