This is when application developers and business analysts who have only ever lived in cities encounter The Real World of which suburbia/citylife is merely one part.
FWIW, I live in suburbia and still have issues with my local post office. I know for a fact that the postman won't even try to deliver a parcel properly but will always poke a card in the letterbox for me to go to the post office later. (This happens whether delivering to my flat or my parents house.)
And then there's the fact my local post office is only open 9-11 on Saturdays. This has been inconvenient before, but Australia Post didn't think my complaint had merit. The irony is that it's actually an agency in a newsagency who are open much longer hours and could theoretically have the post office agency open the longer hours as well.
I might have to just get a PO Box near where I work again. At least I can get to that office during the week day.
