I am doing a lot of code analysis. I was using PDSMAN to dump the contents of PDSs to a dataset which gets downloaded to a PC for analysis.

PDSMAN generated "reports" with contained the library name and member name. I can dump PDSs to a dataset, but then I've lost the member name and/or library name.

straight dump ends up

ABDS PROC
...
...
BDDD PROC
...
...
ETC

now if the developers had always put the proc name as the DDName then I wouldn't have an issue. However.... ABDS does not mean the proc name...

Even worse when analyzing MF JCL.

I get that a LOT. I always try to stretch the functionality of a given tool.

When all you have is a hammer, you creative in its usage.
