There are some serious problems with the way insurance companies and the VA interact, but this proposal wasn't a fix, it was a money grab. So it's swift death is a good thing. It is also a bit depressing in that it was such a bad idea. I don't expect to agree with everything that the Obama administration does, but I was hoping they would avoid the stupidity of the Bush administration. Jay
