But, having been on such a job, it can wear you down quickly. I don't think I've ever been so frazzled at work (except the one time I worked over Labor Day weekend to fix a problem) as when I worked a help desk. You'll get calls from people you can hardly understand who need a fix right away... sigh.

(The amusing part is that the one person I'm thinking of eventually became the president of his company. By then his unintelligable accent had faded considerably.)
