I won't post the reply since it is a private email and that should be his choice to be posted, not mine:

This was sent after he confirmed he was the poster and wanted to know why I was so interested.

You say many things that make sense. But you do it in an incredibly
unprofessional manner for someone who is in the position to promote their own
business that consults at very high level.

After reading the posting, and then doing a quick follow-up read on your
website, I was under the impression that the posting was written by someone
who does not like you, and wants to make you look like an idiot. Possibly
one of the younger programmers you employed and felt abused.

But then I looked futher on your blog, and noticed the same style of writing
(grammatically wise, not as what seems to be purposefully offensive the way
the posting was), and realised it was probably written by the same person.

I assumed you were ill or drunk when you wrote the posting. If not, there is
possibly some type of mental illness you may need to address.

This led me to a dilemma.

I've seen projects fail horribly, I've seen the consultants come in an destroy
the company, I'm fighting that right now. I know all about the hobbling,
I've experienced it 1st hand a couple of times.

Here is a guy has some very good points, things to watch for, problems to
anticipate before they get out of hand. Here is someone that could be a very
good resource to come in and help fix the problems.

But read his blog, and see how poorly he presents himself. Look at the error
after error after error. Look how the hyperbole goes overboard and damages
his credibility.

And then look at the talkback on the Ziff posting, and see how it goes to way
overboard offensive.

At that point there is no way in hell I could recommend you to my company.

If what you have written serves its purpose, and gets the word out in a manner
you deem correct, fine. Maybe I'm just overly sensitive to being politically
correct.

Good luck.

You could do a lot of good, but you seem to be putting up unnecesary road
blocks to your success.
