Welcome to IWETHEY!

New Not exactly
I think the blog poster is a former employee or associate who doesn't like Kevin Brady.

I've read a bit of his site and agree with what I have read (from a project management perspective).

There is NO way the person who produced that web site created the post you replied to.
New Hmm, maybe I was too quick
Further review shows some atrocious spelling and grammar for a web site that is supposed to be a brochure for his consulting.

I've sent him an email to ask.

I wouldn't be surprised if he actually wrote it, and meant it.

Maybe he was drunk?
New Again, there *are* stupid people out there
Remember, the "OMG WTF!!!!11!!1!!eleven" meme arose because there actually *are* people who madly pound the exclamation point without always getting the shift key engaged.
Regards,

New That's why I questioned the whole persona
Brochureware should at least be spellchecked. Someone with the experience that site claims should know that.

New I could see that
What the response to Bob's column says does look like a grotesque exaggeration of what's in the article I linked to:
Just do what EGG.com has successfully done for years \ufffd employ young talented system developers, give them high level feature based requirements, shut them in a room and time box them on an "or else basis". Then, providing you give them on demand, super gulp drinks, pizza and Mc Dee ready meals, and allocate space for sleeping bags then MAGIC happens. Steve Jobs from Apple built his empire on working practices like this.
In that article, he's saying to do that on small, unimportant projects. The post on IW seems to be saying do that always. I could see one of those young developers leaving in disgust and posting something like that.
