I've read a bit of his site and agree with what I have read (from a project management perspective). There is NO way the person who produced that web site created the post you replied to.

I've sent him an email to ask. I wouldn't be surprised if he actually wrote it, and meant it. Maybe he was drunk?

Then, providing you give them on demand, super gulp drinks, pizza and Mc Dee ready meals, and allocate space for sleeping bags then MAGIC happens. Steve Jobs from Apple built his empire on working practices like this. In that article, he's saying to do that on small, unimportant projects. The post on IW seems to be saying do that always.
