New Worked with MacResQ before

The first time was when the screen on my iPod cracked. Apple was going to charge me US$350 flat. I saw a recommendation for iPodResQ and got it done for US$112, including overnight shipping.

Last week I upgraded the hard drive in my AlBook (a surprisingly arduous process) and when I had everything put together, the unit wouldn't power up. Since I had no desire to go back inside, I put in a service order to MacResQ. They sent me an overnight box, the tech got it working and just charged me for one hour labor.

For the DIY'ers, let me recommend another site:

It has instructions for laptop repair/upgrade free (PDF format) with plenty of photos and step-by-step instructions.
