New Watching Brett now
Very different Holmes, much more uncomfortable to be around. Very good, though. On the other hand, Watson in there is also nastier than Russian version, and I think he fits better.

If I can get a subbed version of the Russian movies, I'll send it to you.

New Intriguing -
would be most grateful for a chance to see a take on the prototypical Sleuth - from the land of Gogol ("St. Petersburg Stories".) I would expect such a version of Mr. Holmes to be a dark character, perhaps as intricate as J. Brett (??) Certainly Nothing like Basil Rathbone's supercilious portrayal.. w/ court jester companion.

You keep using that word, but I do not think that it means what you think it does.
