Dammit, a new dryer is around 350 + installation, and this is a BAD month for unexpected expenses.
Post #237,542 by drewk 12/10/05 12:04:48 AM Reply	Easy to test Remove the thermostat. Hold it by the wing with a pair of pliers. Apply a lighter to the inside surface. (The side that sits inside the drier.) After a second or two you should hear a click. Remove the lighter. Few seconds later you should hear it click back. If this doesn't happen, the thermostat is shot.
