New Unmaintainable
Our booking system at work uses tables nested to the n-th level. Yesterday, after a minur upgrade, we discovered that part of the display was mangled on FF (but not on MSIE of course). After spending 4 hours wading through the mess, we finally discovered that the table definitions in that part were all wrong (DTD violations, insufficient closing tags on TD, TR and TABLE elements).

Looks like one or two lines involving TR and TD are out of place in the page template, but with DIV's this would not have happened. Anyway, at least beeing able to see the HTML enabled us to nail this one to the supplier.
New That wouldn't fly as a reason.
Because it doesn't change much. And it's already setup in a template system so they don't have a reason to mess with it.
