For the curious, I live near where the dot on the "i" in "Engadine" is on that map. Unfortunately, the map doesn't show all undeveloped bushland, as there's a a fair sprinkling near me. That one over near Turramurra looks suspicious, doesn't it? Strange how none of the news reports have speculated on it's origin... Wade. Not quite sure how Australia's Engadine reminded its namer of Switzerland, but apparently it did. If not Elvish, it could almost be a fabric - '... she appeared majestic, with garments of the finest engadine ...'. Then again, it could be a floor wax and a dessert topping...
