active directory printers?
When I set up a win 2000 workstation, the add printer thing lets me search the directory
if I choose entire dir it finds no printers
if I choose my w2k adv server it finds 2 printers (even though this is a subset of the ent. dir.)
but if I choose a printer it tells me it can't connect
of course if I ignore the directory and type in the old \\\\________\\________
method then it connects right away
I haven't put SP1 or 2 on the server because I thought I'd put it on a few workstations first and look for any odd behavior
Any ideas?
