Thanks a lot, guys!
The most exciting phrase to hear in science, the one that heralds the most discoveries, is not "Eureka!" but "That's funny..."
-Isaac Asimov
New Looks a ton better... except...
The references are gonna look suspect. I wasn't aware the you knew Winky Doodle, Mickey Spilane and Walther Mitty.

Other than that, I like the over all feel of it, much better than the last.

New Names changed to protect the innocent. :D
Actually, I've got about 15 people lined up from my last position who would be willing to be my reference, although only two of them worked with me in the IT department. I'm thinking about keeping it to three only, but I could literally fill a page (two columns) with contact info...

New I don't supply them until asked
Had a couple refs "burned" by recruiters just using the names to network contacts.

Move education to end unless you are wanting to do software development since you got a BS CS. If you are wanting to do software development, skill set should be right after objective. Actually skill set (this is where you put in a billion buzz words to skip dumb text filters) should be there regardless.

New No Linux?
Am I blind> Did I miss it?
The hottest server phenomina, snowballing down the mountain, for the last 5 years, and you haven't touched it?
New Not in a professional sense, no.
At least, nothing that got beyond a proof of concept. :P

New We've had this discussion
You were payed to install and test.
Just because your testing did not prove it was
a good solution for your current ennvironment
does not mean the time was wasted.

YOU USED IT PROFESSIONALLY!

Put it on the resume, be very clear about your usage.

The key issue is that anyone who claims years and
years of desktop and LAN network experience to have
ZERO Linux on his resume is someone who hasn't bothered
to even investigate one of the hottest tech topics
in years. Which means I would not want that person
working in my environment, even if it is purely an
MS shop. Which very few are nowadays.

New yep, that would be a no interview with me
windows drones are usually hacks, so get that linux in there.
thanx,
bill

Though ony in 'skills'. In no way do I claim expertise, though...
